Leadership Waterloo Region is a social-profit organization founded with the vision of fostering and developing new leadership for generations to come.
Leadership Waterloo Region works to build vibrant, resilient, and inclusive communities by encouraging, empowering, and equipping current and future leaders to unleash positive change in their communities.
How do we do this? We develop stronger leaders by connecting them with important community initiatives and a network of other leaders. We deliver educational leadership experiences to a diverse range of individuals in the community by providing them with the opportunity to acquire and practice leadership skills. This work is done collaboratively with diverse and inclusive organizations in Waterloo Region through the delivery of carefully tailored programs such as our Community Leadership Development Program, Non-Profit Leadership Series, Visionary Speaker Series, and our newly launched Fresh Innovators Waterloo Region conference.
In short, Leadership Waterloo Region builds a continuum of leaders committed to Waterloo Region’s excellence through community understanding, relationship building, collaborative leadership, and community readiness.
